Display ads appear throughout the New Paltz Times, Almanac Weekly and our sister Ulster Publishing newspapers, adjacent to articles.

Display ads are large ads the appear throughout the newspaper with eye-catching type and illustrations, designed by clients or our in-house production department. Cost depends on size, number of paper, and color. Classified ads appear in Almanac Weekly, distributed throughout the region.

Classified ads are text-only ads that appear in the Classified Ad section of Almanac Weekly. Contact Tobi Watson at tobi@ulsterpublishing or (845) 334-8200, ext. 117 for further details or browse our online classifieds or place an ad. Our regular line ad rate is $20 for 30 words; 20 cents for each additional word, but we offer discounts for mulitple-week placement. The final deadline to place a classified is Tuesday at 11 a.m.

Calendar entries appear in chronological order in Almanac Weekly, distributed throughout the region.

Calendar listings include community events, workshops, classes, art openings, musical performances and so on. There is some overlap with the New Paltz TimesCommunity Notes, though Almanac‘s calendar entries cover a wider area – all of Ulster County, parts of Greene, Columbia, Dutchess and Orange counties. There is a small fee for events that charge attendees admission, and display advertisers receive some free calendar listings. Free community event listings are complimentary. Almanac’s calendar is printed on Tuesdays, so we must receive all entries no later than the previous Friday at noon.
